I like to write for enjoyment. I get to focus on immersing myself into other worlds with many different characters! And sometimes I will draw images straight out of a piece of writing I did, it adds that extra bit of life to the scene. Also I have a lot of characters so when I can't draw them I like to write little stories with them.
Which brings me to this point: I do enjoy RolePlay.
Which brings me to this point: I do enjoy RolePlay.
★I will not RolePlay with anyone under the age of 18!
★The following social media I use for Roleplaying: Discord, Telegram, Skype.
★I treat my RP replies like short stories, with plot, character development, environments, so on. Which means I may/can/have written long replies. This does not happen every single reply, obliviously, since it does depend on the situation. I will not RP with someone who only replies with one-liners! It can take me time and thought to write out my reply and if someone's only going to reply with one-liners then I will not continue with the RP.
★RP Style: 3rd person-paragraph form. Sometimes I might switch to a different view depending on the situation and character for a certain purpose. But otherwise I prefer 3rd person. I do include my character thoughts; this doesn’t mean your character can hear my character’s mind. This is intended for the purpose of the reader (That being you) to understand why my character does certain actions, or what he/she(s) thinking.
I love to RP, for fun and writing experience. I prefer decent writing, but I don’t care if you make mistakes, we all do (I overlook typos, often if I’m sleepy.) as long as I can still read it, and understand the sentence, then no worries. Again this is for fun, the writing doesn’t have to be highly advance. While I don't usually like one-liners I do understand sometimes, depending on the situation, a one-liner is necessary, this should be in rare cases.
★Characters: As an artist I love making original characters, I rarely use characters not of my own creation. Also I can make up characters, and universes on the spot. The only time I use characters not of my own creation is if it’s from something I really enjoy, and even then I will create fan characters to go along with it. (For example I really love the Legend of Zelda series and have created fan characters for the Hyrule world).
★Time: I am Central Standard Time (GMT-6) . If we get together at the right moment and can RP for a decent amount of time that’s great. However I do understand there are outside forces (work, school, events, friends, errands, etc.) that can prevent us from replying as quickly or as much as we like. Plus there are times when we’re not “in the mood” and that’s fine too. If you aren’t able to reply for an extended amount of time, or just want a break, please inform me, and I will do the same to you. RP does not have to be the top priority, we both have lives that come first. If ether one of us loses interest in the role-play, or feels the other person isn’t the right person for role-playing, then we must contact the other and respectfully tell the other that you wish to end the RP. Please don’t just vanish as a way to end the RP, that’s rude and leaves me confused if you still want to pick it up one day or not.
★Mature themes: This is why I do not RP with anyone under 18. I am a mature RolePlayer, and am open to RP's with themes that fall under adult rating. Themes such as: Drug use, Alcohol use, Heavy Language, Suggestive themes, Adult interactions, Gore, Violence, Unsettling Settings, Demon themes, etc. Now this does not mean I only RP in mature settings, I can RP with little mature themes it's just more common for me to work in mature settings because a lot of my characters get involved in environments for mature readers only.
--- No "god-moding," "auto-hitting," or "meta" role-playing please, I don’t like my characters being taken control, unless a certain intention comes up for this to happen it must be agreed upon first.
---Also I don’t expect Mary-Sues/Gary-stus characters from you, flat or unchanging (unless of course those are for background characters, and even then.) We can discuss this further before we start the RP. Again I treat my RPs like short stories, life-like, and I will not RP with someone who's character(s) are flat, perfect as can be, or are OP (overly powerful to the point it's boring because nothing can bother the character or threaten the character in any way).
---When I RP with someone I expect us both to act maturely and respectful of each other! If I feel if I'm being disrespected or my characters are being disrespected I will end the RP. I like to RP for fun and I shouldn't have to feel stress because my RP partner is being rude/disrespectful/troublesome or the like.
